I agree with the assessment that Merck has a sound mission statement. I find this mission statement capturing the organization unique and enduring reason for being. It refers to it target audience which are the customers, employees, and investors in a very promising way. Moreover this mission statement shows commitment, values and direction in which the company goes. Merck’s sound mission statement, and vision creates a winning combination for a successful company.
